Microsoft Train Simulator
Support for Microsoft Train Simulator is now a standard part of 3D Canvas
Plus and 3D Canvas Pro.
3D Canvas now includes a Microsoft Train Simulator
Wizard that creates all of the files required for a model to be loaded into
Microsoft Train Simulator. Creating an engine from a 3D Canvas model is now
simply a matter of running the Wizard and creating a consist for the engine
in Train Simulator.
The Train Simulator Wizard also assists in identifying and
organizing parts using Train Simulator standards, placement of special effects and
lighting, and automatic animation of steam engine wheels and the link
between them. Seven Train Simulator specific tutorials are included in
the on-line help that cover everything from model orientation and placement
required by Train Simulator to animation of steam engine rods.

A Microsoft Train Simulator discussion
forum has been set up. This forum is only available to 3D Canvas Plus and
3D Canvas Pro users. Please register on the forum and when we confirm your
registration of 3D Canvas Plus or 3D Canvas Pro we will provide you with access.

do cover many areas that would commonly be used by people modelling for
Train Simulator.

Tutorials by 3D Canvas Users
These tutorials were written prior to the introduction of 3D
Canvas' Train Simulator Wizard. Most of the information provided is still of
value, but many of the tasks required to move models to Train Simulator are
now automated by the Train Simulator Wizard.
