Using Texture Libraries

Texture libraries are collections of commonly used Textures. The Textures themselves are stored using the Windows Bitmap format.

Click RollDown.gif (95 bytes) to show the Texture Library panel. Click RollUp.gif (93 bytes) to hide the panel. Or select the Material Tab Button-Construction-Material.png (1138 bytes) to show all Material sub-panels.

Click on a texture to copy it to the Material Palette.

Click to show a pop-up window with all textures in the active Texture Library.

Click openHS.png (177 bytes) to open a texture library. To create a new library enter a name for the new library in the file selection window. The drop-down box provides quick access to all texture libraries that are in the same folder as the active texture library.

Click DocumentHS.png (138 bytes) to add an Texture to the library.

Click DeleteHS.png (918 bytes) to delete the active Texture from the library. Note that this will not delete the underlying file, only the reference to it in the Texture library.

Click Plus.gif (894 bytes) to show more Textures.

Click Minus.gif (891 bytes) to show fewer Textures.
