Using Component Libraries
Component libraries are collections of commonly used shapes. Click to show the Component Library panel. Or select the Component Tab to show all component sub-panels. Click to open an Component library. To create a new library enter a name for the new library in the file selection window. The drop-down box provides quick access to all shape libraries that are in the same folder as the active shape library. Click to add a shape to the library. This will allow you to select a 3DCrafter shape File to load into the Component Library. Alternatively, you can right-click on a shape and select Add to Component Library. To add a compound shape (one with child and/or sibling shapes) to a shape library, ctrl-alt-select the main part of the shape, right-click on the the combined shape, and select Add to Component Library. Click to delete the selected shape from the library. Click to show more shapes. Click to show fewer shapes. To add a shape to your scene, click on a shape and drag it onto your scene. This will make a copy of it in your scene. |
